How Boca West Builds Wellness Into the Full Member Experience

At Boca West, wellness is not treated as a single appointment or class. The Club’s approach to wellness is designed to move with Members through the day, from training and golf to dining, recovery, aquatics and time spent with friends.

That breadth is what makes the program notable within the broader private club experience. Fitness remains central, but it sits alongside nourishment, recovery, recreation and connection. The result is a club lifestyle in which feeling better is tied to how the day is structured, not only to time spent in the gym.

A morning might begin with a trainer working on balance and strength, continue with breakfast at Market Square, move into golf or a Technogym fitness assessment, and later include a poolside lunch or time in the Spa. The sequence can change from day to day, but the underlying idea stays consistent: wellness is woven into the everyday Member experience.

Boca West Florida Live Well Program

Wellness Starts With a Five-Part Framework

Boca West Country Club organizes its Live Well program around five pillars: Nourish, Move, Connect, Focus and Recover. Rather than treating those areas as separate programs, the framework brings them together so Members can shape a wellness routine around the way they already use the Club.

Misty Stewart, Director of Lifestyle & Wellness at Boca West Country Club, describes the goal as helping Members leave restored, energized and happy. In her view, wellness extends beyond exercise to include the mind, body, nutrition, relationships and experiences that make daily life at the Club fulfilling.

That approach also gives Members a practical starting point. The Live Well Concierge Desk can connect someone with a Certified Personal Trainer, spa provider, aquatics programming or a class that might otherwise have gone unnoticed. A Member may begin with fitness, discover recovery, or turn time in the Spa Garden into a regular meditation practice. The program is designed to make those connections easier.

Fitness Center Boca West Country Club

Fitness Moves Beyond the Workout Floor

The 72,000-square-foot Fitness Center gives Boca West a broad platform for movement. Pilates, Spin, personal training, TRX, mobility work and outdoor conditioning are among the options available, allowing Members to change how they train rather than repeat the same routine.

The Pilates Studio includes reformers, Cadillacs, chairs and barrels for private and semi-private sessions. Golfers can also use Titleist Performance Institute training in the Core Studio to work on mobility, stability, strength and power with the golf swing in mind.

Newer assessment tools add another layer of personalization. Technogym Checkup evaluates areas including body composition, mobility, balance, strength, cardio and overall fitness. Kinotek Movement Assessment uses 3D scanning to examine movement, while PNOE breath analysis looks at metabolic function and aerobic fitness. Together, the tools are intended to give Members more information for training and nutrition decisions.

The purpose is not simply to improve a workout. Better movement, balance, strength and conditioning can support the golf round, the match, the swim and the rest of the day that follows.

Healthy Dining Bocca West

Nourishment Stays Connected to the Day

Wellness at Boca West also extends into dining. Market Square gives Members options such as a Goddess Bowl, Greek yogurt parfait, green salad or sandwich after a workout or time on the courts, while still leaving room for a more indulgent choice when the occasion calls for it.

Across the Club’s eight dining venues, food remains part of the social experience rather than a separate wellness exercise. That balance supports the Nourish pillar: Members can make health-conscious choices without losing the flavor, conversation and spontaneity that come with Club dining.

A quick meal can become a longer conversation, or lunch can connect one part of the day to the next. In that sense, nourishment fits into the same broader rhythm as fitness, recovery and recreation.

Spa Boca West

Recovery Becomes Part of the Routine

The 38,000-square-foot Spa expands wellness beyond activity and into restoration. Its offerings bring together global wellness traditions, treatment experiences and spaces intended to help Members slow the pace of the day.

The Hammam ritual in the Old-World Suite includes a full-body scrub, steam shower, Moor Mud masque, mineral soak and customized massage. In the Rainforest Room, a Vichy shower uses warm cascading jets as part of a restorative body treatment.

The men’s and women’s wet facilities add Roman baths, steam rooms, traditional and infrared saunas, and Spa Experience Showers. The Sensory Cascade uses targeted body jets to create a waterfall effect, while SnowBliss provides a cold contrast with a snowfall-style experience.

That range gives recovery a more deliberate place in the day. A treatment, hydrotherapy session or quiet time in the Spa Garden can become more than an appointment between activities; it can change the tempo of the day before Members move on to whatever comes next.

Aquatics Boca West

Aquatics Adds Another Way to Move

At the Aquatics Center, movement takes a different form. The 96,000-square-foot resort-style multipool complex supports fitness, relaxation, lap swimming, recreation and poolside dining in the same setting.

Aqua Zumba and aqua board classes bring resistance, balance and movement into the water. Aquatic therapy and rehabilitation sessions add a lower-impact option intended to support mobility, strength, balance, circulation and recovery.

The setting also matters to the experience. Palm trees, cascading waterfalls, Cabana Bar & Grill and outdoor gathering spaces make the pool complex a place where exercise can blend into the rest of the day rather than feel like a separate scheduled stop.

Pickleball Club Boca West

Recreation Creates Its Own Wellness Rhythm

Some of Boca West’s most active wellness experiences happen on the golf course, pickleball courts and tennis courts. The movement is only part of the appeal; time spent playing also creates natural opportunities for conversation and connection before, during and after the game.

Golf spans 72 holes across four championship courses, with Titleist Performance Institute training, Mr. D’s 19th Hole & Drive Suites, clinics, tournaments, leagues and social golf events extending the experience beyond the course itself.

The recently completed Pickleball and Tennis Club adds 25 pickleball courts, including 12 covered courts, alongside 24 tennis courts. The complex also includes a Pickleball Shoppe, Tennis Shoppe, day lockers, showers, stadium seating, wraparound terrace seating and gathering areas designed to support both play and the time around it.

A match can lead into lunch plans, a golf round can continue at Mr. D’s, and time on the terrace can stretch well beyond the final point. The activity and the social connection remain closely linked.

Golf Boca West

The Member Experience Is the Bigger Story

The scale of Boca West’s amenity program is substantial: more than 450,000 square feet of Club facilities, five pools, eight dining venues, 72 holes of golf, 24 tennis courts, 25 pickleball courts, a large Spa and more than 600 Member events each year.

Yet the wellness story is not only in the numbers. It is also in the transitions between them: the conversation after pickleball, lunch after a workout, a quiet hour in the Spa before dinner, drinks after golf, or a pool day that continues because the next plan has not started yet.

That is where Boca West’s wellness approach becomes broader than fitness. Movement, nourishment, recovery and connection are built into the same Member day, allowing health to function as part of the Club experience rather than as a separate item on the schedule.
